Dave Palmquist: Head Coach - South St. Paul Head Girls Hockey Coach (17 years). Head Boys Coach at Minnehaha Academy (7 years). Dave brings 24 years Head Coaching experience with over 400 Career wins to our program. His teams have won four State Championships in 2002, 2003, 2005 & 2006. He was Minnesota Coach of the Year in 1999 and 2001 and Section Coach of the Year 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2010. Dave's program has produced 30 Division One athletes.

Lee Smith: Lee Smith - Lee played college hockey for Mankato State University. Lee is the current Head Coach at Eden Prairie High School and has been for 18 years. He has over 300 career wins including State Championships in 2009 and 2011. His program has developed 6 Mr. Hockey finalists including 2009 winner Nick Leddy currently with the Chicago Black Hawks & 2011 Winner Kyle Rau. His 2011 team included 2 NHL draft picks Kyle Rau and Nick Seeler.

Brian Hansen: Played college hockey at Bethel University. Has been coaching and running clinics for the past 8 years, from Mites to Bantams. His 3 great uncles played in the National Hockey League in the 1930's and are featured in Ross Bernstein's book Frozen Memories. As a goalie, he won 10 USA National Broomball Championships and was elected to the USA Broomball Hall of Fame.

 

Joe Krmpotich: Playing Experience: Eden Prairie High School, Rochester Mustangs Jr A. (USHL) Iona College & St. Thomas University.Coaching Experience: Eden Prairie High School, current Junior Varsity Head Coach & Varsity Assistant.(current) Eden Prairie Youth Hockey, Mite Player Development Coordinator.  Skills & Skating Instructor at Little Twigs Hockey Camp.

 

Dave Miller: Dave played high school hockey at Bloomington Kennedy High School. He is a very accomplished senior player winning 2 National Championships at the Senior "A" Elite level with Buck's Unpainted Furniture. He was also featured in the movie Pond Hockey. Dave has been coaching for 17 years in the Kennedy system including head coaching positions with the Bantam A and Girls Varsity teams. He is currently the Assistant Boys Varsity Coach and head instructor of the Kennedy STP Program.

 

Jake Kremer: Jake is from Eden Prairie, MN. He played three years of High School Hockey at Eden Prairie High School. Jake then played a year for Russel Stover U18 Midget AAA in Kansas City, where he backstopped his team to 3rd in the Nation. Jake then played a year for the Bismarck Bobcats of the NAHL, where he led the league in saves and was named the team MVP. Jake will be a Senior & Goalie at the University of Minnesota and ran the Hockey Specific Strength Trainer at Edge Sports Training Centers this past summer.

 

Pat Griswold: Playing experience - Led Augsburg College to the 1998 MIAC Championship and a berth in the NCAA Division III Final Four. Coaching experience - Spent several years coaching in the South St. Paul Associciation at the SQ "A", PW "A" and BTM "A" levels. Spent the last year as an Asst. Coach at Hamline University. Has been coaching summer AAA hockey for seven years.
 

Mike Moline:  Playing experience - Led North St. Paul High School to the 1981 State Hockey Tournament. Played College hockey at UMD.Coaching experience - Currently head goalie coach for Park Cottage Grove boys and girls varsity programs. Last 4 years head goalie instructor at Doug Woog's Hockey Camps. Last three years at the Advanced 15's girls as a goalie coach. Member of the Minnesota Hockey Goalie Development Committee.

 

Chris Boeltl: Playing experience – Minnehaha Academy High School & Bethel University. Chris has been teaching, coaching & reffing hockey full time for the last 10+ years both here in MN & in Southern California.

 

Bob Smith: Bob grew up & graduated from Como Park High School. A lifelong St. Paul resident. Bob played through Midgets for the “Shop Pond Gang”. He has implemented, organized & lead the St. Paul Train Gang skill development product in St. Paul.
